A Daniels Park Afternoon

What a great day to wander around Daniels Park, just 21 miles south of Denver. It clouded up a bit just before I got there, but with temps in the mid-70s and a light breeze, it felt good to get outdoors.

One of the largest parks in Denver's Mountain Parks system, DP has 1,000 acres, great views of the front range, and lots of critters roaming about.  The bison were chillin', the prairie dogs scampering, and I must've seen a dozen or more bluebirds.

Daniels Park is just 5 minutes from where I live, but I don't get to visit as often as I'd like.  Note to self: spend some time here, unwind, soak up the sun and take a few deep breaths.  The other stuff can wait.
